Job DescriptionRole Summary: We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Operations Manager to join our team in Halls Gap. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and maintaining the overall quality of our property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and payments.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as required.
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management.
- Promote a positive atmosphere and provide friendly service to guests.
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring a smooth process for guests.
- Provide information about hostel facilities, local attractions, and travel advice.
Requirements:
- Self-motivation, hands-on, and willing to perform all duties that are required in managing a small accommodation site.
- A desire to work on the front line of the business across housekeeping and reception.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of local market trends and competition.
- A commitment to customer service and providing guests with a unique and memorable YHA experience.
