At Peoples Coffee, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barista and Front of House Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne CBD.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a keen eye for detail. As a Barista and Front of House Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the front-of-house area, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • To prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including espresso-based drinks, tea, and other specialty coffee products;
  • To manage the front-of-house area, including greeting customers, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace;
  • To maintain a safe and healthy working environment by following health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents to management;
  • To work collaboratively with the barista team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Barista in a fast-paced coffee shop environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues;
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment;
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
