Job Summary
New Relic, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth.

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to kick-start their sales career with a leading technology company. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for:
  • Actively prospecting new clients and pitching New Relic solutions and services;
  • Managing target numbers of customer interactions;
  • Identifying opportunities where prospects can be transferred to a discovery phase;
  • Gathering information about potential clients;
  • Leveraging marketing materials to engage with customers and establish relationships.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 1+ years of sales experience (prior BDR SaaS sales experience preferred);
  • In-depth knowledge of the marketplace for QMS and MES solutions;
  • Advanced critical thinking skills;
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills;
  • Passion for sales;
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
