Job Title: Reconciliation Manager

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking an experienced Reconciliation Manager to lead a small team of middle office staff in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing outsourced functions, including daily operations and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on all reconciliations within Fund Accounting and Middle Office Services in an outsourced environment.
  • Communicate with key business owners and clients on reconciliation reporting, trends, processes, and controls.
  • Work closely with offshore teams and be the key point person for escalations.
  • Support and lead key business change as it relates to reconciliations.
  • Be the key point for Aus/NZ for reconciliations.
  • Support client change and new services initiatives as required.
  • Generate ideas for process improvement to systems and processes.
  • Adhere to the risk and control framework, including the maintenance and update of internal procedures.
  • Manage incident reports within required timeframes.
Requirements:
  • Degree education in commerce and finance.
  • 5+ years of reconciliations experience.
  • 10+ years' experience in Securities Services.
  • Knowledge of the fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, and cash & FX markets and corporate actions and derivatives.
  • Solid understanding of outsource Middle Office services.

  • IntelliMatch.

  • Calypso.
  • MS Word and Excel (intermediary/expert).
