Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full-Time Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring accuracy in various financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to advance their career in a supportive and collaborative environment with a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Payroll Journals: Process and record payroll entries, ensuring accuracy of employee wages, deductions, and taxes, in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile company credit card statements, ensuring that all transactions are correctly accounted for and classified.
  • Events Journals: Manage and process financial records related to events, including tracking expenses and revenues associated with each event.
  • Member Account Balances: Maintain accurate records of member account balances, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and aging reports are up-to-date.
  • Payroll Review: Assist in reviewing payroll calculations and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Divisional Management Accounts: Prepare and assist with the preparation of divisional management accounts, analyzing financial performance and identifying key variances.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an accountant (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in payroll processing is preferred.
