Accounts Payable Manager Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end Accounts Payable functions and associated approval workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable Function Management: Own the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including review and processing of incoming invoices, ensuring accurate recording in AP/accounting systems with correct GST coding.
  • AP Batches and Remittances: Process weekly Accounts Payable batches and distribute remittances.
  • Timely Approval and Payment: Drive timely approval and payment of invoices through proactive partnering with the business.
  • Expense Reimbursement: Assist and/or administer and process employee expense reimbursements and employee expense systems, as required.
  • Policy and Procedure Adherence: Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • AP Process Improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvement of AP processes and controls.
  • BAS Review Process: Contribute to monthly BAS review process, including partnering with the tax team.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting and Bank Reconciliations: Assist with cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations.
  • Reporting Requirements: Assist with Modern slavery and Payment Times Reporting Scheme reporting requirements.
  • Finance Team Support: Assist the broader Finance team with ad hoc queries.
