Role Overview

This Corporate Accountant position is responsible for global finance tasks, including processing bank receipts and payments, calculation of accruals, general ledger reconciliation, and monthly reporting requirements. You will also assist the Corporate Accountant team in the preparation of month end finalisation and meeting KPIs on reporting packs required by Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for year end and interim audits
  • Apply accounting standards to our product offering and support various projects on new issued standards
  • Monthly accounting of right of use assets and liabilities, including reconciliation and financial statement disclosures
  • Assist in calculating and processing month end accruals and journals, as well as assisting with Securitisation accounting for Trust entities (SPV) including monthly reconciliations
  • Maintain accuracy of General ledger and manage balance sheet reconciliation for various accounts, including leases and receivables
  • Assist with daily and month end processing, reconciliations and reporting, as required
Requirements
  • Good technical/numerical skills and knowledge, thorough and accurate
  • Proven customer service and communication skills
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, meets specific deadlines and reports regularly on progress
  • Analyses information and solves problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability
