Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Australia. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for leading the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements, reconciliations, and high-quality analysis and reporting against budget.

You will also prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to senior management and stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage financial operations, including billings, customer collections, and the accounts payable function.

A successful candidate will have 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3+ years PQE (CA or CPA Qualified). A relevant Tertiary qualification in Finance/Commerce or similar is also required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements, reconciliations, and high-quality analysis and reporting against budget.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage financial operations, including billings, customer collections, and the accounts payable function.
  • Lead external audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements and processes.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3+ years PQE (CA or CPA Qualified).
  • A relevant Tertiary qualification in Finance/Commerce or similar.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment or global company preferred.
