A highly respected plaintiff law firm in Sydney CBD is seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to lead their finance and administration teams.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee the entire financial operations, including accounts payable/accounts receivable, bank and general ledger reconciliations, month-end/EOFY reporting, trust accounting/controlled monies, cashflows, PAYG, BAS and GST, credit card transactions/reconciliations, petty cash and trust audits.

You will also be responsible for ensuring corporate/legal compliance, assisting with recruitment/HR/staff management, and being the primary point of contact with external partners such as IT professionals, building managers, and branch offices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting/bookkeeping, minimum 5-20+ years of experience in a similar role, and proficiency in using accounting software such as Affinity or Locus. You will also possess excellent numeracy skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you can expect a competitive salary range of $90,000-$130,000, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
