About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team at a global financial services firm. As a key member of our middle office, you will be responsible for supporting the front office with cash and position clearance, calculation and review of daily unit prices of applicable funds and products, investigating reconciliation breaks, bank overdrafts etc., and liaising with various stakeholders in the front and back office.

Responsibilities:

  • Cash and Position Clearance: Collaborate with the front office to ensure timely and accurate clearance of trades and settlements.
  • Daily Unit Price Review: Conduct thorough reviews of daily unit prices for applicable funds and products to identify any discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Reconciliation Break Investigation: Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, bank overdrafts, and other exceptions on a daily basis.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders across the front and back office to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Accountability: Take ownership of all middle office responsibilities related to relevant portfolios, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of tasks.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a relevant role within finance or funds management, preferably with exposure to unlisted assets.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with various financial products such as fixed interest, FX, equities, and OTC.
  • Middle Office Understanding: A solid understanding of middle office functions and processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
