Strategic HR Business Partner

As a Strategic HR Business Partner at Glad Group, you will be reporting directly to the People & Insurance Manager. Your primary focus will be on strategic HR initiatives, working closely with the People & Culture leadership team to ensure alignment across the business on all People & Culture related matters.
The role requires providing expertise to shape strategic and operational advice within the People & Culture sphere to meet business needs. You will also support and challenge the business in organisational discussions, proposing alternatives to ensure that the HR strategy and business strategy are aligned.
In this position, you will provide strategic advice and ongoing support on employee relations, dispute resolution, and industrial advocacy, including actively managing ER/IR cases. You will conduct complex investigations ensuring legislative compliance, due process, and fairness, and take responsibility for the outcomes.
You will represent the business in interactions with unions and other external organisations as required. Maintaining accurate and forward-thinking People & Culture policies and procedures will be essential, and you will be responsible for providing suggestions for improvement.
This role requires regular site visits and may involve intermittent interstate travel. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a similar field, with a minimum of one year's experience as a HR Generalist or HR Advisor or similar.
A deep understanding of HR legislations and awards is essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask, are also required.

Payscale: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
