About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Fraud and Corruption Prevention Specialist. As a key member of our Governance and Risk team, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our fraud and corruption control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective fraud and corruption prevention strategies and controls
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to Council officers on fraud and corruption prevention and control
  • Conduct investigations into fraud and corruption matters
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and stakeholders' representatives
  • Prepare and present reports to senior executives and staff
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Law, Local Government, Commerce, Secretariat, or similar relevant area
  • Significant knowledge of AS80001:2021 - Fraud and Corruption Control
  • Significant experience in refining, implementing, and maintaining fraud and corruption control systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience conducting investigations into fraud and corruption matters
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
