About the Role

Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for handling complex property claims, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve complex property claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions
  • Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless claim handling
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders to promote confidence in Chubb's claims service
  • Identify and report potential fraud and subrogation issues
  • Manage and control the use of outside vendors and ensure effective claim handling
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support claim resolutions
  • Document all claim developments and maintain accurate records
  • Exercise good judgment in reaching final claim dispositions
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification (Degree preferred)
  • Relevant industry qualifications (ANZIIF) or studying towards
  • 5+ years' experience in handling complex property claims
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word/Excel and ability to construct claim reports
  • Ability to manage self and time effectively
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
