About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Clinician to join our Suicide Prevention Team at Central Coast Local Health District. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing timely and clinically appropriate responses to individuals in suicidal crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based mental health care, including mental health care coordination, to a caseload of consumers in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting.
  • Assess and manage individuals at risk of suicide, forming supportive therapeutic relationships and utilizing a range of communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Participate in the delivery of training and resources to support the adoption of the Suicide Prevention pathway across the service.
