Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct work studies to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes.
  • Develop and implement production, inventory, and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement plant layouts and production facilities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct work measurement and other studies to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
