We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at World Courier (Aust) Pty. Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting in event, incident, request and change management, and ensuring proper communication/review of requirements and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on infrastructure systems.
  • Assist Level 1 to Level 2 infrastructure engineers in event, incident, request and change management.
  • Evaluate technical requirements for incidents and requests to determine the impact to the infrastructure including equipment redundancy and capacity requirements.
  • Make recommendations to improve operational reliability and performance.
  • Participate in investigations as needed.
  • Assist team with ITSM data gathering and presentation.
  • Suggest requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance.
  • Investigate alternative methods to expedite problem resolution.
  • Recommend procedures and controls for problem resolution or create temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be implemented.
  • Review checklists and scripts and update as needed.
  • Document new or modified infrastructure solutions, modules, test activities/results and other areas such as error handling.
  • Participate in trainings or handover sessions needed to support infrastructure.
  • Ensure all documentation is delivered according to specified guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Academic degree in IT or technology.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts.
  • Possession of any IT certification is an advantage.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills, effective team player.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Understanding of ITSM is a plus.
