Infrastructure Project Manager

Abergeldie is an Australian-owned contractor with a 30-year history of delivering complex infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand. We specialize in the design and delivery of water, bridges, transport, underground, energy, and remediation projects.
Our Utilities team offers expertise in strategic planning, ECI/Toc/Alliance collaborative contracting models to design and deliver water and wastewater asset reliability and renewals, bulk water asset upgrades, capital infrastructure projects, and network rehabilitation and replacement services.
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our senior leadership team and lead our Utilities business in New South Wales. In this role, you will oversee engineering management for key water and wastewater infrastructure projects, driving the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee engineering management for water and wastewater projects from design through to construction.
- Drive the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
This role offers a competitive salary package, estimated at $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position can be based in Sydney or one of our other metropolitan offices, with travel as required. We offer flexible work options, including hybrid working arrangements, to suit your needs.
About You:- Proven experience in infrastructure project management, specifically in the water and wastewater sector, with experience on pump stations and pipeline projects.
- Background in civil or mechanical engineering.
- Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with hands-on experience in contractor-side delivery.
- A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success.
