Estimated Salary

A competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, is on offer for this role.

Job Description

We are inviting experienced Senior Project Engineers who are passionate about delivering high-quality infrastructure projects to apply for this exciting opportunity. As a Senior Project Engineer with Symal, you will play a key role in ensuring our project teams deliver projects on time, on budget, and as safely as possible.

  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure project delivery in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews and provide cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost-to-complete.
  • Lead and support a strong safety culture within the project team.
  • Manage the construction program and implement mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
  • Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or project management.
  • A proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with a successful outcome regarding the above Key Result Areas (KRAs).
  • Effective communication with clients, consultants, management, and on-site personnel.
  • Understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure projects greater than $30 million in value.
  • Ability to travel regionally when needed.
