We are an Australian owned contractor with 30 years' experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects across the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation sectors.

Our team offers expertise in strategic planning, collaborative contracting models, and design and delivery of water and wastewater asset reliability and renewals projects.

Job Description:

  • Lead engineering management for key water and wastewater infrastructure projects from design to construction.
  • Drive the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Work closely with project managers, site managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring they have necessary resources, skills, and training to deliver on project objectives.
  • Identify potential risks related to engineering and construction and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.
  • Support the growth of the water and wastewater team through mentorship and by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead and manage engineering aspects of key water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  2. Process Development: Drive the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring they have necessary resources, skills, and training to deliver on project objectives.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to engineering and construction and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in engineering management within the water and wastewater sector, with experience on pump stations and pipeline projects.
  • Background in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with hands-on experience in contractor-side delivery.
  • A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success.

What You'll Get:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role can be based in Sydney or one of our other metropolitan offices, with travel as required. We offer flexible work options and hybrid working arrangements.
