About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Strategic Business Partner to join our team at Gallagher. As an integral part of our People and Culture function, you will play a critical role in shaping our people strategy and driving key HR initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with our business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on complex HR matters, including employee relations, performance issues, and workplace investigations.
- Lead and facilitate talent management processes, including succession planning, performance reviews, and employee development programs.
- Implement and enhance HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Utilise HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organisational change initiatives and foster a positive culture.
- Coach and mentor HR team members, supporting their growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to HR initiatives.
About You
- A solid background in HR with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and HR strategy.
- Extensive knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in providing strategic HR advice to senior leaders and driving HR initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
