About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Business Partner to join our dynamic People and Safety team. This role presents a unique opportunity for a talented professional to make a meaningful impact on our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR advice to senior leaders and employees, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legislative requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective people management practices, focusing on early intervention and proactive approaches.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build employee capability, embed organizational culture, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, providing expert guidance and support to people leaders.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field, supplemented by significant experience in ER/IR.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies, with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to navigate complex HR issues.
Benefits and Remuneration

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A salary range of up to $107,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A generous superannuation scheme, with council contributing an additional 2.75% on top of the super guarantee.
  • Five weeks annual leave, plus 17.5% leave loading.

  • Payroll deductions and salary sacrificing options available.
  • Opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight or a 19-day month.
