Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager is a newly created role that will lead and manage the Human Resources functions to support the organisation's mission by attracting, developing and retaining talent. This role partners with senior leaders to continuously evaluate and improve recruitment and HR processes, ensuring alignment with contemporary practices and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support the organisation's mission and goals
  • Lead and manage the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services
  • Partner with senior leaders to evaluate and improve recruitment and HR processes
  • Oversee performance management, employee relations, and industrial relations
  • Drive initiatives to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workforce

Requirements

  • Experience as a human resources advisor or manager
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Good knowledge of employment relations
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Organisational and planning skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Capacity to travel to schools within the Diocese
  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card
  • Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
  • A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education
