Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team at Precruitment, a leading recruitment consultancy in Regional Queensland. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our clients' HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of their teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates
- Handle HR administration tasks, such as employee onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Previous experience in HR generalist positions, preferably in a local government or similar environment
- High level of personal initiative, self-motivation, and good time management skills
- Ability to obtain an understanding of and clearly communicate relevant legislation, such as the Fair Work Act
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and clients
