About the Role

The NSW Government is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Customer Service Liaison. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of clients, while coordinating site operations during programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate site operations, including setting up and packing up event-related equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of programs and events.
  • Assist with operational support, including traffic flow and parking, and distributing resources as required.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will have a strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to assist Catering Officers in the kitchen, including operating commercial dishwashers and operating the bar when required.
  • Experience undertaking basic administration-based tasks, including operating a point of sale, stock inventory, and ordering of items.
  • Ability to work on a rostered basis, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
