About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Business Development Associate to join our team at Zenobē. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growth strategy and pipeline of opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Business Development Growth Strategy: Maintain our CRM platform for key accounts, develop compelling business propositions, and manage key account relationships to contract close.
  • Prepare Presentations and Proposals: Create high-quality presentations for potential clients, support client pitches, and present at industry events.
  • Financial Modelling and Analysis: Build financial models with the support of corporate finance teams, conduct market research, and analyze energy/transportation data.
  • Internal and External Communication: Prepare and present high-quality internal Investment Committee papers to key shareholders, build relationships with channel partners and supply chain, and contribute to the strategy process.
  • Health, Safety, and Sustainability: Integrate health, safety, and sustainability principles into daily responsibilities, promote a safe and supportive work environment, and adopt sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.
Requirements
  • Background in Economics, Finance, or Business Development: Opportunity for an individual with a background in economics, finance, or business development.
  • Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills: Highly motivated and engaging, with excellent communicative and coordination skills, strong analytical skills, and financial modelling experience.
  • University Degree and Presentation Skills: University degree in business, economics, finance, or STEM, with excellent presentation and client-facing skills.
About Zenobē

Our goal is to make clean power accessible, accelerating the shift to zero-carbon power and transport. We're building and operating the world's most sophisticated battery systems to enable the uptake of more renewable power and accelerating fleet electrification, de-risking the transition to zero-emission transport at scale.

We've been consistently innovative since our founding in 2017, achieving major industry firsts and using proprietary software and data analysis to optimize operational performance for our customers. At the end of their life, we repurpose electric vehicle batteries to provide clean power at depots, on construction sites, and film sets.

Today, we have 430 MW of grid-scale battery storage operational and under construction and are the largest owner and operator of EV buses in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, supporting over 1,000 electric vehicles worldwide. In our first five years, we have raised nearly £1.8 billion in funding and have expanded into other markets such as the US.
