Accommodation & Hospitality Manager - Maintenance Director

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that our facilities are always in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure the efficient operation of our properties.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Front Office, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
- Monitor and control maintenance expenses, ensuring that they are within budget and aligned with company standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, implementing new ideas and technologies to improve maintenance operations.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance, with the ability to implement and maintain safe working practices.
