The main purpose of this role is to deliver excellent administration and support services to AMP's Aligned advice network by completing a regulated set of business processes and maintaining effective quality, timing & risk controls within the team. A focus on problem solving and continuous improvement identified through opportunities to further streamline activities is also expected and critical to the success of this role
How you will make an impact
- Manage workflow based on business impact, regulations, SLAs, and task urgency. Participate in team meetings and focus groups, sharing feedback for continuous improvement to enhance service quality.
- Investigate and resolve adviser queries and complaints, support remediation and risk management activities, and identify and communicate process gaps to prevent client and business impacts. Highlight processing defects to minimise daily disruptions.
- Handle accounting, processing, balancing, and reconciliation of revenue. Resolve unallocated invoice payments, issue refunds, conduct fee classification reporting and analysis, and monitor and reallocate revenue, clear liabilities, and redirect owed revenue.
- Transfer clients and invoices to new servicing arrangements, process adviser/licensee requests per regulatory requirements, and assess and cease client servicing arrangements as needed.
- Transfer servicing rights for client policies, update representative details, and process appointments, terminations, alterations, and related activities
What you will bring to the role- Relevant experience within an operations function, preferably in the financial service industry
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, formulas etc)
- Previous experience with CommPay (revenue management system)
- Demonstrated understanding of SLA's, capacity management and achieving goals and targets
- Financial Planning industry and administration would be (well regarded)
- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or related discipline would be (well regarded)
