Position Summary

Tesserent is in search of a skilled and driven Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to support the Tesserent Growth (sales) team and potential clients regarding the technical aspects and delivery strategies for Managed Security Services, including Cloud solutions. This role serves as a vital link between the Tesserent Account Executives and internal delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Tesserent Account Executives in developing technical solutions and delivery strategies related to Managed Security Services.
  • Offer pre-sales technical support and product education to Tesserent Account Executives, clients, and prospects.
  • Analyze customer requirements; engage with clients or prospects to comprehend their needs and communicate this information to the Sales Representative.
  • Build and sustain a trusted advisor relationship with clients by leveraging your extensive consulting experience and strategic account management skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver technical presentations that showcase how Managed Security and Cloud Services can fulfill customer or prospect needs.
  • Act as a liaison between internal delivery teams and Tesserent Account Executives to gather technical insights for addressing customer inquiries and significant sales opportunities.
  • Contribute to the formulation of technical solution specifications for quotes or proposals and prepare supporting materials.
  • Provide input for the creation and enhancement of existing and new security solutions and products for managed services.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of the company's security and managed service offerings.
  • Support the management of sales through activities and opportunities in our CRM while adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about the broader capabilities and service offerings across the Tesserent Group to facilitate multi-service engagement.
  • Participate in the development and dissemination of knowledge throughout the Tesserent Group.

Technical Expertise

  • Capability to develop and present proposals and/or speaking materials for various events.
  • Background in security, with prior experience in a technical or consulting security role.
  • Proven success in pre-sales and familiarity with cyber security.
  • Keep abreast of industry insights and proactively investigate emerging security risks, controls, applicable regulations, and trends.
  • Ability to develop, utilize, and enhance the company's methodologies to deliver effective security and risk advice.
  • Skill in articulating business outcomes, including implications and accurately assessing risks in relation to the business objectives of our clients.
