As a Registered Nurse with Serco, you will be part of an experienced multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive mental health care to patients. Your role will involve conducting intake assessments, risk assessments, crisis intervention, case formulation, and medication management, as well as extra support services as required.

- A current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Credentialed with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN), or minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma Mental Health Nursing, or undergraduate trained Mental Health Nurse (UK), or trained and registered as a Psychiatric Nurse / Mental Health Nurse.
- A minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) post-graduate experience in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting, undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
- Knowledge of relevant State/Territory policies and procedures, and national standards governing mental health practice (desirable).
- Knowledge of the ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018-2023 (desirable).
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA, with a minimum of 10 hours directly related to mental health.

Lavarack Health Centre is a state-of-the-art facility located in Townsville at Lavarack Barracks, providing primary medical, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care to Defence members.

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus generous benefits and rewards for our employees.
