At Acumen Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Lavarack Barracks. As an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for occupational rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in supporting the Australian Defence Force (ADF) members to return to wellness and achieve their health goals.

This rewarding role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, medical specialists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. With your clinical expertise and case management skills, you will help ADF members overcome injuries, illnesses, or trauma and regain their physical and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and worksite reviews to identify rehabilitation needs;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop tailored return-to-work plans;
  • Implement and monitor rehabilitation programs to ensure optimal outcomes;
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing;
  • Experience in case management and occupational rehabilitation;
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills;
  • Able to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and ADF members.
