Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our QLD Project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through securing contracts for the lifecycle replacement of HVAC, BMS, and Chillers Systems.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement short- and long-range sales plans and strategies.
  2. Contact target organizations to identify profitable sales opportunities.
  3. Prepare and submit sales proposals.
  4. Influence tender requests to include Johnson Controls' specified products and systems.
  5. Deliver assigned business plans and achieve secured sales volume and gross margin targets.
  6. Provide information on the Applied industry and recommend plans to maximize future business in line with the Applied growth strategy.
  7. Foster strong relationships with customers and provide sales and technical support to contractors, consultants, and end-users.
  8. Generate forecasts for sales, delivery, collection, sales backlog, inventory management, and other sales-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Proven sales ability with year-on-year growth.
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Experience working with consultants, owners, main contractors, and other key stakeholders within the building and commercial industry.
  • Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
