This role will focus on securing sales growth for our Retrofit business, particularly in the lifecycle replacement of HVAC, BMS, and Chillers Systems.
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our QLD Project team. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing short- and long-range sales plans and preparing sales strategies and submissions
- Identifying profitable sales opportunities through targeted outreach
- Managing the preparation and submission of sales proposals
- Influencing tender requests to include Johnson Controls specified Applied Products and Systems/Solutions
- Delivering assigned business plans, achieving secured sales volume and gross margin
- Providing information to management regarding the Applied industry and recommending plans to maximize future business in line with the Applied growth strategy
- Fostering strong relationships with customers and providing sales and technical support to contractors, consultants, and end-users
- Generating forecasts for sales secured, delivery, collection, sales backlog, inventory management, and other sales-related issues
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC industry
- Proven sales ability with year-on-year growth
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally at all levels
- Ability to work with consultants, owners, main contractors, and other key stakeholders within the building and commercial industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
