About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a highly experienced Executive Director to join Dexus' New Business team as Senior Manager, Institutional Capital – ANZ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • BUILD STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS WITH INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS: Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, gaining a deep understanding of their strategic goals and investment objectives to identify sales opportunities.
  • LEAD DOMESTIC INSTITUTIONAL INVESTOR ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY: Be the key point of contact into the Dexus platform covering Australia and New Zealand, leading the domestic institutional investor engagement strategy.
  • INITIATE AND FOLLOW UP ON BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES: Identify and pursue business opportunities, including new product and strategies, to drive growth and diversification of the institutional investor base.
  • PITCH TO EXISTING AND POTENTIAL INVESTORS: Engage with existing and potential investors to raise awareness of the Dexus platform and products, actively pitching on existing product suites or new ideas/opportunities to collaborate.
  • RAISE AWARENESS OF THE DXUS PLATFORM AND PRODUCTS DOMESTICALLY: Drive commercial terms negotiations and capital raising in Australia and New Zealand for new joint venture opportunities and new product initiatives.
About You

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a minimum of 10 years' experience within funds management, strategy/banking/corporate development, or distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, with familiarity with the real-estate and/or infrastructure funds management sector.

  • STRONG COMMUNICATION AND PRESENTATION SKILLS: Ability to effectively communicate complex information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • FAMILIARITY WITH REAL ESTATE AND INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDS MANAGEMENT SECTOR: Strong knowledge of market trends and ability to discuss them in the context of Dexus products and opportunities.
  • EXISTING INDUSTRY AND INVESTOR CONTACTS: Established industry and investor contacts within the real estate and infrastructure sectors, domestically and globally.
  • PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF DELIVERING PROJECTS: Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from conception to completion, achieving project goals and objectives.
  • BREADTH OF PROPERTY AND INFRASTRUCTURE KNOWLEDGE: Strong business acumen, financial analysis, and feasibility development skills.
