We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Fundraising Leader to join our team in Asia Pacific. This individual will report directly to the Managing Partner, Regional Head of GCG (based in Sydney) and indirectly to the Managing Director, Fundraise Management (based in New York). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing all aspects of the regional fundraising strategy, including stakeholder management, risk identification, and proactively adapting to changing circumstances.

Job Description

The Regional Fundraising Leader will play a key role in driving the fundraising lifecycle for BROOKFIELD ASSET MANAGEMENT's global investment strategies, customizing and implementing the fundraise strategy in the Asia Pacific region and coordinating all stakeholder groups in delivering their respective roles throughout each stage of the fundraising lifecycle.

This includes developing and implementing strategies for generating investor interest and driving momentum, working closely with Client Relationship Managers in the region to meet fundraise targets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and tactically adapting the strategy as circumstances change, facilitating key decisions throughout the fundraising process with all stakeholder groups, and leading the APAC Fundraise Management team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree in finance, business management or another relevant discipline. They will also require at least 12 years of experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, with a particular focus on the Asia Pacific region.

In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate a proven understanding of the LP landscape and preferences, styles, and requirements across key regions and investor types. Strong strategy/product knowledge, ability to communicate details of fund approach internally, and strong investment and financial analytical capabilities are essential. Experience in high-volume processes and technology-enabled solutions, as well as institutional fund marketing sales and support experience, are also highly desirable.

Estimated Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000 per annum
