Administrative Coordinator for Safety and Wellbeing Initiatives

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Townsville. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of safety and wellbeing initiatives within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Support: Collaborate with the SHW Principal Advisor and team to develop and maintain effective safety and wellbeing programs.
- Data Management: Establish and maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and data management systems to enhance team efficiency.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive outcomes in safety and wellbeing.
Administrative Duties Include:
- WorkCover case administration and advisor assistance
- Basic medical expenses case management
- Injury review support and weekly medical certificate management
- Pre-employment WorkCover medical reviews and data uploads
- Managing records, archiving, and WHS Committee support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A valid Blue Card (a must)
- Advanced administrative skills and experience
- Background in basic rehabilitation case management
- Familiarity with physical and psychological wellbeing challenges in frontline service environments
Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our client offers a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
