About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturer and exporter. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety operations across the site.
- Safety Inductions: Coordinate and manage inductions for new staff members.
- Compliance: Conduct regular site walks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Safety Administration: Manage documentation related to safety processes and compliance.
- Injury Management: Assist with return-to-work plans and injury management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary degree in a relevant field (such as safety or a related discipline).
- Proven experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive safety initiatives and promote a positive safety culture.
We offer a competitive salary of $AUD 90,000 per annum, plus benefits such as:
- A 4-day workweek from January to June.
