We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join our team as Head of People & Culture Business Partnering. This role is responsible for delivering strategic HR, ER, and IR advice and support to business units and functional teams within allocated portfolios.

The successful candidate will be a key player in our ANZ people and culture team, providing leadership and support to the New Zealand EGM and the New Zealand business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality people and culture advice and assistance to BU leadership teams and the business.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and deployment of HR strategic initiatives across the business to improve performance.
  • Working with the recruitment and resourcing team to ensure best practice and cost-effective recruitment, retention, and redeployment strategies.
  • Providing training and advice on legislation, drafting compliant agreements, and assisting with negotiations, terminations, and defending unfair dismissal claims.
  • Assisting businesses in identifying and developing talent through coaching, mentoring, training, and experiential learning.

About You

  • Tertiary qualified with experience working in a senior People and Culture role within a multi-site organization.
  • Previous experience working with matrix structures.
  • Demonstrated project management experience is advantageous.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Commercially astute with a pragmatic approach.
  • An excellent knowledge of employment legislation, awards, and industrial instruments.
  • A background working in primarily blue-collar businesses.
