About the Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the HR strategy to align with the company's strategic objectives at Programmed. As a vital part of the team, they will oversee the development and implementation of HR projects, enhance employee training and development, and manage key HR functions including recruitment, remuneration, and industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and project plans to support business goals and drive employee engagement
  • Partner with management to deliver innovative HR solutions, identify opportunities to address business challenges, and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Enhance people management capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and effective training programs, ensuring employees have the skills needed to succeed
  • Oversee HR administration processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in HR operations
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes, including employer branding and talent management, to attract top talent in the logistics industry
  • Oversee remuneration and benefits, ensuring competitive and fair compensation for employees
  • Handle industrial relations and WHS matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and fostering employee engagement and well-being

About You

  • Must have experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry and a proven track record in HR management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and problem-solving approach to addressing HR challenges
