As a Business Development Representative at TomTom, you will play a crucial role in expanding our sales outreach to new prospects and driving growth for our enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactive Sales Outreach: Manage and expand sales outreach to new prospects, identifying and qualifying potential customers for our location-based solutions.
  • Qualification and Persuasion: Apply BANT qualification techniques to inbound and outreach leads, influencing and persuading customers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • KPI Success Measures: Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver qualified sales opportunities that progress through the pipeline, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior sales members in the team while maintaining independence, increasing team productivity and driving sales growth.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies related to location, identifying opportunities for customers and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Requirements:
  • AU PR or Citizenship: Must have Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree is a must; fresh graduates with an understanding of the GIS/Mapping industry are welcome to apply.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in relevant technology, customer-facing corporate experience, or customer service-related role is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong desire to be in technology sales, excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, strong problem-solving skills, ability to take initiative, outstanding time management and organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
