We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Manager to join our team at Sofitel Adelaide. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in the management and implementation of our pastry section.

Job OverviewThe Executive Pastry Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pastry section, including food preparation, production, and presentation. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop new menu ideas and ensure that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs to achieve excellent results
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts
- Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior pastry role
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Diploma in Patisserie)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
