People and Culture Business Partner

About the Role
Cabrini Health Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our People and Culture team. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic support to our directors and portfolio leaders, ensuring the effective management of employee relations, performance, engagement, and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted adviser to group directors and portfolio leaders, providing guidance and solutions to key people-related matters.
- Manage employee relations matters, including conduct, performance, conflict resolution, and disputes, ensuring compliance with policy and enterprise agreements.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance manager capabilities, applying coaching and development techniques to ensure best practice management of staff and mitigation of industrial relations risks.
- Contribute to People and Culture projects and programs, including employee reward and recognition, employee listening, learning and development, and health, safety, and wellbeing.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of contemporary human resources practices and frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partnering or similar role in a medium to large-sized organisation with a complex operating structure.
- Working knowledge of Australian ER legislation, enterprise agreements, and Awards.
- Ability to align HR initiatives with business goals and contribute to strategic planning.
- Ability to analyse HR metrics and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Sensitivity to diverse workplace cultures and the ability to promote inclusivity.
- Capacity to develop trust and build effective business relationships with all levels of the organisation.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to apply discretion to sensitive or confidential matters.
- Well-developed influencing, negotiating, and dispute resolution capability.
- Technology proficiency in the MS suite, case management software, and HRIS systems.
