About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Officer to join our team in Student Services. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring there are clear lines of communication between parents, staff and students. You will play a key part in creating a supportive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiating and handling correspondence and enquiries, which include sensitive information.
  • Maintaining student attendance records and data daily.
  • Communicating with parents daily regarding student absences via SMS messaging and telephone.
  • Daily responsibility to provide first aid and overseeing medications to students (and staff), supervision of sick bay, maintaining stocks of first-aid care supplies.
  • Communicating with Pastoral Care Teachers and Coordinators regarding student attendance and welfare.
  • Coordinating charity collections through Pastoral Care classes.
  • Assisting with the issuing of student ID cards.
  • Assisting in the Census in February and August each year as per guidelines issued by Catholic Education.
  • Ensuring students are receiving appropriate daily communications.
  • Collating medical information for whole-year group events.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum (plus superannuation)
