Education Leadership Specialist

About the Role
The Mathematics Coordinator will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of curriculum initiatives, working closely with staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of teaching and learning principles, with the ability to design and deliver professional development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum initiatives, working closely with staff to ensure alignment with school goals
- Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers, supporting them in their professional development and improving student outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver professional development programs, focusing on teaching and learning excellence
- Monitor and evaluate curriculum implementation, making recommendations for improvement as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider school community, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching qualification
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and/or Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registrations
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration and/or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
Essential Criteria
- Comprehensive understanding of teaching and learning principles, with the ability to design and deliver professional development programs
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and the wider school community
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community, complying with legal, administrative, and professional requirements
- Classroom practices and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments for all students, including meeting a variety of learning needs
