Job Description:As a Case Officer at SS&C Bluedoor Pty Limited, you'll be responsible for handling insurance claim lodgements and assessing eligibility for super access due to invalidity or terminal illness. You'll need to manage your own claim portfolio accurately, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adherence to business rules, life code, SIS Act, and super code regulations.
You'll be the primary contact for members and potential beneficiaries, managing all insurance claims until the end of the process. This includes proactively following up on receipt of claim documents, aiding in form completion as required, and providing regular updates on the claim's progress.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service via inbound and outbound calls.
- Effectively manage difficult conversations by actively listening, empathizing, and identifying member or beneficiary needs.
- Lodgement and triaging of claims.
- Taking ownership of Death, Total and Permanent Disability (TPD), Trauma Insurance (TI), Income Protection (IP), and Personal Injury (PI) claims, ensuring effective communication throughout the lifecycle of each claim.
- Proactively follow-up on receipt of claim documents and aid in form completion as required.
- Action and complete claim work within agreed SLAs and escalate any potential SLA risks.
- Provide information on account details without offering financial advice.
- Participate in training and upskilling to enhance knowledge and skills within yourself and your team.
- Be an active team player, contributing positively and collaboratively to shared team goals.
- Deliver the fund's service expectations, achieving an end-to-end lifecycle for every claim.
- Make recommendations to the Trustee on all product claims.
- Manage family law enquiries and process family law splits and financial hardship applications.
- Report and manage dissatisfaction feedback and service complaints.
- Attend to all forms, correspondence, filing, and record maintenance associated with claims management, family law splits, and financial hardship.
- Address customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner, accurately identifying the nature of the enquiry.
- Ensure integrity is maintained and risk exposure minimized by adhering to policies and procedures.
