Medical Liaison Officer

The Medical Liaison Officer will act as the bridge between our business and healthcare professionals, responsible for delivering revenue growth and promoting our services to a defined area of local referrers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing current referrer relationships, while delivering on current marketing strategies
  • Acting as the first point of contact for referrer matters with a customer-focused attitude
  • Resolving and/or escalating referrer issues or complaints as they arise
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive territory plan and delivering revenue on growth strategies
  • Increasing revenue to assigned territory in line with the budget expectations
  • Identifying new customer opportunities and developing relationships to gain new referrers
  • Maintaining ongoing competitor and market analysis

Requirements include:

  • Current Driver's Licence is essential
  • Qualification in a Health Science, Business, Sales, or Medical Terminology is desirable but not essential
  • Recent graduate or industry background is desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated sales experience with a history of achieving sales targets, preferably in healthcare is desirable but not essential
  • Proficient computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and CRM tools (Salesforce) is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to referring practitioners is essential
  • Strong organisational and time management skills is essential
