About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced sales environment, identifying and generating new commercial sales leads to host events at our venue through proactive efforts such as cold calling, networking, and research. You will work closely with the General Manager to manage sales opportunities through the full sales funnel from initial contact to closing.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from inquiry to post-event follow-up
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events, including scheduling, budgeting, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site management
  • Host site visits for prospective clients, offering venue walkthroughs and providing tailored proposals that highlight the venue's unique features and event capabilities
  • Ensure every event is delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction

About You:

  • At least 12 months' experience in event marketing coordination and sales or a related field
  • Current/valid QLD RSA Certificate
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and clients to achieve the best outcomes for the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues at all levels
  • A genuine passion for both sales and event planning, with enthusiasm for delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business growth
