Job Description

As a Community Development Officer, you will be responsible for implementing programs and activities that promote participation of young people and surrounding communities.

You will work closely with the Youth Club Manager to develop and deliver engaging programs that meet the needs of our members.

Your primary goal will be to increase youth involvement in programs and events, while also providing support and guidance to our members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline;
  • Experience in undertaking youth-related activities;
  • A light rigid driver's licence and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain);
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain).
