Job Overview

The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in the aerospace and defense industries. They will excel at creating and closing new business opportunities, leveraging their industry knowledge and sales expertise to identify and qualify deals.

This role is positioned within a high-growth market unit and an organization undergoing transformational growth through organic and inorganic means. We are an ever-evolving business, challenging and disrupting industry standards in the global enterprise software space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a Go-To-Market Strategy for nominated industries, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Prepare and maintain a Territory Plan for agreed verticals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop Account Plans and action cards for named accounts, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, including demand generation, understanding customer needs, and delivering business value.
  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets, delivering results in line with quarterly budgets.
  • Liaise with Sales leadership and Global teams to build a strong internal network and collaboration.
  • Ensure complete CRM hygiene, sales cadence, administration, and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting.
Requirements
  • Proven sales cycle delivery experience in the aerospace and defense industries within the Australian market.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of consistently meeting and over-achieving sales quotas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Comfort working within a matrix-rich organization, building relationships and finding support to drive business results.
