Strategic Business Development Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at Teradata.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to expand our capabilities and ecosystem across a portfolio of key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully building, elevating, and nurturing relationships within key prospects resulting in new customer business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Revenue Growth: Achieve specific Key Sales Objectives within assigned existing and new accounts, continuously build a pipeline of opportunities for services and technology.
- Strategic Prospecting and Account Planning: Research prospective organisations to develop value propositions for Teradata solutions, utilize structured approaches to identify and measure potential new business.
- Reporting, Administration, and Training: Complete, update, and submit account and opportunity cadence, build and manage pipeline within Salesforce to meet reporting standards.
- Account and Opportunity Management: Develop and maintain Territory Plans for assigned New Business Territories, create Account Plans for Managed Prospects in accordance with established standards.
What You'll Work With
You will work closely with regional and international Directors, Professional Services, Managed Services, Consulting, and Partners to deploy post Proof-of-Concept (PoC) / Proof-of-Value (PoV) projects and create supporting proposals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 10+ years of Solutions Sales or relevant experience.
- Experience in selling complex technology solutions advantageous.
- Knowledge across Business Intelligence, Data and Analytics, and AI/ML preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building and elevating relationships within key prospects.
- Understanding of sales environments requiring capital expenditure plans and budgets.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
