Culinary Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who can oversee the formulation of culinary dishes, supervise and provide guidance to the kitchen and restaurant teams, and contribute to creating menus that meet discerning culinary preferences, restrictions, and sensitivities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in delivering exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement menu concepts that align with company standards
  • Assist in inventory management and labour cost control
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety regulations and food standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Cookery or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive experience as a Sous Chef, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
